The RNIB UK is the largest source of information on blindness and partial sight on the Internet in the UK, holding hundreds of pages of useful information. The complete text of many of RNIB's leaflets and samples of some priced publications are available online. The Website is specially designed to be fully accessible to sighted, partially sighted and blind visitors.
Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB)
The AFB is committed to levelling the playing field for the 10 million blind or visually impaired Americans. A non-profit organization founded in 1921, the AFB is a leading national resource for people who are blind or visually impaired, the organizations that serve them, and the general public. A number of useful publications may be found on their web site, as well as information for those living in the US and Canada.
The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB)
WBU is the international voice of over 50-million blind and visually impaired people. Their web site is available in three languages (English, French and Spanish) and contains some useful factsheets and its monthly magazine.
The World Blind Union (WBU)
Canadian National Institute for the Blind, is a national voluntary agency providing services to individuals across Canada to whom loss of vision is a central problem in personal and social adjustment.
