María Marta Castro María Marta was diagnosed with MS in October 1995. She is 45 years old and has a 22 year old daughter. She studied Tourism at University and loves travelling.

Australia
Trevor Farrell Trevor is an architect who has worked in Australia, the UK and Kenya. He is currently CEO of the MS Society of Queensland.
Trevor is married to Cecily and has two daughters, Emily (born 1980) and Henrietta (born 1981). His hobbies include woodworking and watercolour painting. |

Austria
Nicole Murlasits Nicole is working for the Austrian MS- Society. She studied Political Science and Communication Science and is the editor-in-chief of the Austrian MS- Society- Magazine “neue horizonte”. Her aim is to make People with MS visible. Her hobby is her husky she-dog Ashra, with whom she loves walking in snowy scenery. |

Belgium
Guy De Vos Guy was diagnosed with MS in 1981 and became a member of the Belgian MS Society in 1986. He is currently President of the Belgian MS Society Persons with MS Committee, Vice President and Administrator of the Belgian MS Society and Chief Editor of the society’s periodical review De Sleutel.

Maria De Lourdes Faber Maria works as an Executive Secretary in banking. She enjoys theatre, films and books and when possible, time on the beach. |

Canada
André Lespérance André has been a key and senior volunteer at many levels of the MS Society of Canada. He has served as Chair of the Board of the Québec Division and continues to serve both as a member of the Division and National Boards. André is the layperson representing the National Board of the Society to its Medical Advisory Committee. In his professional life, André has been a very successful entrepreneur in the construction material and hardware retail business as part of the RONA chain. André has been a very active fundraiser over many years on behalf of the Society it was André who connected the Society to RONA, currently title sponsor of the flagship RONA MS Bike Tour program. |

Dr Svatopluk Čablík Svatopluk is an independent- translator and a teacher. He holds a Brno- master´s degree in history and a doctorate in Czech. His interests are swimming, reading, and foreign languages. |

Irene Jensen Irene studied economics and worked for the Royal Greenland Post. She is Deputy Chairman of the Danish National MS Society. She enjoys dressmaking and gardening and has one son. |
