Ana Nina
I was born in Lisbon on 28 April 1952. I am married with a 23 year old son.
In 1974 I graduated from the Escola Superior de Saúde de Alcoitão (ESSA) as an Occupational Therapist (OT), having spent several months training in the field in Israel, England, Canada and Denmark.
In 1984 I received my post graduate degree in Management and Teaching and worked as an OT professor at ESSA until 1998. I specialised in psychiatry and mental health and served as Course Director then Department Manager.
In 1999 I attained Senior Occupational Therapist status and have worked in psychogeriatrics and OT at the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa community ever since.
I am interested in the arts, history and creative cookery.
I was diagnosed with MS in 1990.
