Ellen Boyd, USA

Ellen Boyd was born in Washington D.C. in 1962. After studying economics, she has worked for more than 20 years in finance, supply chain, strategic planning and human resources within the utility industry. Ellen lives in Akron, Ohio, with her husband Craig. She has two adult step-daughters, one living in Boston and the other in Akron.

Ellen’s first MS symptoms appeared in 1996 and her diagnosis was confirmed in 2000. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS), where she is active in the Executive and Strategic Planning Committees. Ellen also serves on the National Programs Advisory Council for the NMSS.

Her interests include working with animals, travel, and reading.
