Society Aims & Objectives:
|
| |
- To help people with multiple sclerosis and their families
- To strengthen existing regional MS foundations and, through its development plan, help to establish new foundations in regions not yet covered
- To provide information and, where possible, social and medical support through regional groups
With its newly formed medical advisory board, SSMR seeks to inform and advise national and local health bodies to ensure that the state provides the most effective treatment, therapy and care possible for people with MS. The MS Society commits to keeping families together, where possible, by supporting the person with MS so that they can continue to live as independently as possible in their community.
