Making Connections
More MS in focus translations
MSIF is pleased to announce that MS in focus magazine continues to be translated into a wide variety of languages. 
As well as German and Spanish editions of each issue, we are delighted that Issue 1 on fatigue is now available in Dutch. Thank you to the MS Society of The Netherlands, Stichting MS Research, who undertook the translation, design and print of this edition. Please click here to download a copy.

MSIF Charcot Award 2007
Every two years, MSIF gives the Charcot Award for a lifetime achievement in outstanding research into the understanding of, or treatment of MS. Nominations for the 2007 award are now open (closing date: 20 December, 2006).

MS debate in EU petitions committee successful

The "2nd European MS Awareness Day" organised by the European MS Platform (EMSP) at the European Parliament in Brussels on 21 November 2006, was extremely successful and effective. More than 20 MEPs gave assurances of their support in the fight to improve the lives of people with MS, and the Petitions Committee decided to seek an open question time session on MS in the European Parliament.

UK health trusts told MS drugs must be funded
