Distinct mechanisms of altered brain activation in patients with multiple sclerosis
The authors, using a recently introduced MRI technique which measures brain activity, compared patterns of activation during cognitive tasks in people with MS and in normal controls. They found that the differences between the two groups were partially due to ongoing compensatory processes in people with MS.

Daclizumab phase II trial in relapsing and remitting multiple sclerosis: MRI and clinical results
This preliminary study looked at the clinical and MRI effects of daclizumab, a monoclonal antibody, in a small group of people with active relapsing MS despite interferon. Results were encouraging, showing a reduction in MRI active lesions and an improvement in clinical scores. Larger studies are now needed.
