The effects of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) on spasticity in multiple sclerosis

The authors studied the effects of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation in treating spasticity and pain in people with MS. They found long applications of this technique to be useful in reducing pain and muscle spasm.

Voxel-based analysis of grey matter magnetization transfer ratio maps in early relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis

The authors, using a recently developed MRI technique, localised areas of neuronal damage in the brains of people with relapsing-remitting MS.

Interferon beta-1a slows progression of brain atrophy in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis predominantly by reducing gray matter atrophy.

The authors evaluated the impact of Interferon-beta on progression of brain atrophy in people with MS and found that this treatment slowed it down over a three-year period.
