Autologous non-myeloablative haemopoietic stem cell transplantation in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis: a phase I/II study
This preliminary study investigated the safety and efficacy of stem cell transplantation in people with relapsing-remitting MS who did not respond to beta-interferon. It was found that it stopped progression and improved disability. However, some important side effects were reported. Further and larger studies are needed to confirm these results.

Effect of plasma exchange in accelerating natalizumab clearance and restoring leukocyte function
Treatment with natalizumab, a new medication for aggressive relapsing-remitting MS, can uncommonly induce a progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML), which is a very serious condition.
