On 14 May 2009 an MS awareness seminar for those newly diagnosed with MS was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

‘What is MS?’
The seminar, now in its third year and supervised by the Saudi MS Advisory Group, was attended by more than 50 people with MS and their families. Presentations were given on the symptoms of MS, how to treat it, diagnosis and the emotional effects of the disease. During the seminar delegates were invited to join the online Saudi MS Forum.
