The ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and its optional protocol was approved on the 21 May in the National Congress.
During May, the Aequitas Foundation and Health University also organised a conference addressing the impact of the UN Convention in different areas (legal, educational, social, health, etc).
