The two US women with MS, Wendy Booker and Lori Schneider, who are climbing Everest have started their final summit attempt now that the weather in Nepal has improved.
"I am excited to begin the goal that I have come here to achieve. Please think positive thoughts this next week and thoughts of safe passage for all of us on the mountain," Lori Schneider.
Lori Schneider called the MSIF office on Thursday and advised she was in good health. Her team climbed to camp two on Monday 18 May 2009.
"The physical exertion is tough, but we are going to focus on gaining as much ground as possible these next few days and hope the great weather holds," Wendy Booker.
Wendy Booker’s team is back above base camp and is hoping for a summit attempt near to the 21 May 2009.
