Magyar SM Társaság, the Hungarian Multiple Sclerosis Society, marked Hungarian MS Day and their 20th anniversary of MSIF membership with two days of activities.
 Raising awareness on Hungarian MS Day
On the 12 and 13 September events were attended by Dr Tamás Székely, Minister of Health along with representatives from the European MS Platform (EMSP), Handicapped Peoples Organisation Hungary and local mayors.
Their activities included: a programme for people with MS, a city lake embrace, a non-stop running event, a happy hour for everybody and dinner with the champions, where runners dined together with people with MS in a sports arena. In addition, a programme for children, families and for disabled people was organised to encourage many people to participate. A round table on the “MS Barometer” was also organised with the help of the EMSP. At this event, the Code of Good Practice in MS was discussed by people from Hungary in addition to MSIF and EMSP member societies.
