Aimed at people affected by MS, health professionals and MS society staff and volunteers, the Asociación Española de Esclerosis Múltiple (AEDEM) and the Federación Española para la Lucha contra la Esclerosis Múltiple (FELEM) are working with MSIF and the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform to organize a one-day conference in Madrid on Tuesday 26 September, the day before ECTRIMS 2006.
It is estimated that 700 people will attend the conference, titled "Research in Multiple Sclerosis: From Basic Science to Quality of Life". The event shall take advantage of the international MS specialists present for ECTRIMS, who will present a day earlier on the current developments in MS research to a less 'scientific' audience.
