UK: The Symptom Relief Research Initiative from the UK MS Society
The UK MS Society launched the Symptom Relief Research Initiative in October, aiming to raise £2.5million over the next three years to fund projects in this vital area. The society is already funding five projects, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for early stage MS and a Group-based Fatigue Management Programme.

All of the studies research different aspects of symptom relief for people with MS. There is a DVD available, which can also be viewed on the site, introducing the initiative, plus five short films explaining each of the studies in more detail.
