Companies launch the marketing of Tysabri® for relapsing MS, making the drug available for people in the US in the coming weeks.
Biogen Idec and Elan Pharmaceuticals have now commercially launched Tysabri® (natalizumab) in the US. Tysabri was approved by the FDA in June for relapsing multiple sclerosis. The companies are sending out letters and emails announcing this fact to healthcare professionals and to people with MS who had requested updates on Tysabri.
