The aim of MSIF’s biannual Du Pré Grants is to encourage cross-fertilisation of skills through collaborative research projects. The Autumn 2009 Du Pré Grants have been awarded to Nielsen Lagumersindez Denis (Cuba), Lucas Schirmer (Germany), Lekha Pandit (India), Moones Heidari (Iran), Shiva Khezri (Iran), Chiara Maiorino (Italy), Lucia Lisi (Italy) and Tamara Castillo (Spain).
The award recipients will travel to MS centres of excellence in Germany, Italy, UK and the USA to work on short term projects on a range of topics in MS.
MSIF have awarded a total of 14 Du Pré Grants for 2009.
