Over the last 17 months, MSIF and the World Health Organization (WHO) have been gathering epidemiology and service delivery data from countries around the world for the WHO/MSIF Atlas of MS publication. This data has also been presented on the Atlas of MS website at www.atlasofms.org. We now need your help to gather more.
Since it went live in August 2006 the Atlas of MS website has been used by more than 10,300 people from over 10 countries to run more than 37,300 data searches.
When it was launched in August 2006 the Atlas of MS website presented information and data provided by experts from 64 countries. In January 2007 WHO and MSIF agreed that this data reasonably represents three WHO regions (the Americas, Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean) but that data needs to be collected from more countries in the other three regions (Africa, South-East Asia and Western Pacific) to improve global representation.
By April 2007 new contacts in 52 countries had been approached, 15 of which had completed and returned an Atlas of MS questionnaire. We would be grateful for your help in identifying contacts in the following countries:
Armenia Azerbaijan Bangladesh Belize Benin Bolivia Botswana Brunei Darussalam Burundi Cambodia Cameroon Central African Republic Chad Cyprus Dominica Egypt El Salvador Equatorial Guinea Eritrea Ethiopia Fiji Gabon Gambia Ghana Grenada Guinea Guinea-Bissau Guyana Haiti Honduras Indonesia
