Further to FELEM’s initiative translating MSIF's weekly Research News update into Spanish, Maria A Reyes-Velarde, Manager of Underserved Population Programs, the US National MS Society (NMSS), confirmed The National Hispanic/Latino Advisory Council of the National Clinical Advisory Board has approved to have a link to FELEM’s translation on NMSS’s Spanish section.
FELEM's Spanish translation is done by Xavier Montalban’s team in Vall d´Hebron Hospital in Barcelona and this translation will now feature on NMSS’s Información en Español pages, under Investigación y la esclerosis multiple.
Pedro Carrascal, CEO of FELEM, commented: "We are very proud that NMSS has decided to promote this great work done by MSIF and adapted and translated by us.”
Nancy Holland, Vice President of Clinical Programs, NMSS, also commented: “I can only congratulate you on your wonderful work to embrace the Hispanic community worldwide.”
