The 5th annual MS Global Dinner Party (GDP) is now only one month away. On Saturday 24 February 2007, supporters around the world will be helping us in our global fight against MS by hosting an event and raising vital funds to support people affected by MS and further research into finding a cure.
Over the past four years, the GDP has raised more than £104,800. GDP funds have facilitated the meetings of the MSIF Paediatric MS Study Group, invested in future MS researchers, for example through a grant to enable Swiss biology student, Ruth Etzensperger, to do an MS-related PhD at Oxford University, England, and raised awareness of MS and the valuable work carried out by national societies the world over.
This year we hope to see events being held in Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Kenya, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the USA.
It is not too late to join us in making 2007 a great success. Find out more about participating in the MS Global Dinner Party 2007 by clicking here or email Zoe Burr, International Programme Officer, for a Host Registration Form.
