Peer Baneke, MSIF CEO, attended the 3rd Global Patients’ Congress on Patient-Centred Healthcare, organised by the International Alliance of Patients’ Organisations (IAPO), held in Budapest. The conference was an excellent opportunity to liaise with other global health networks, key World Health Organization (WHO) officials and to learn about best practice in advocacy, capacity building and relations with pharmaceutical companies.
Peer gave a presentation on twinning and chaired one workshop about adapting IAPO’s ‘Declaration on Patient Centred Healthcare’ to a specific condition or to regional differences. We implement important aspects of this declaration through our Principles to Promote the Quality of Life of People with MS.
