Chief Executive Peer Baneke and International Programme Officer Zoe Burr represented MSIF at the Second National Meeting of Patients with MS, in Mexico City last week.
The Meeting lasted three days and included lectures, discussion panels and presentations from specialists and MS societies from all over Mexico.
Peer commented, ‘We were delighted to attend this important meeting and learn more about the provisions for people in Mexico as well as the continued development and work of the Mexican MS Society (EMMEX) in which the major local MS groups in Mexico work together. We came away with a greater understanding of MS in Mexico and how MSIF can better develop the role we play with our member societies and in the global MS community as a whole.’
