MSIF attend 5th International Congress on MS in Iran, 13-14 November 2008
During their recent visit to Iran, Paul Rompani, Deputy CEO, and Zoe Burr, International Development Manager, had the opportunity to spend an afternoon at the Iranian MS Society headquarters in Tehran.

They were welcomed by the Chief Executive Mohammad Khosroyar, Chair of the National Medical Advisory Board, Prof Mohammad Ali Sahraian and a number of Board members. The recently built headquarters houses a rehabilitation centre where, each day, up to 35 people with MS receive occupational and physical therapies. The staff were also shown around a project in the centre of Tehran which by providing employment for people with MS, enables them to gain their independence. The society hope to be able to expand the project further in the future.
