  MSIF Twinning Programme launched
Today marks the launch of the MSIF Twinning Programme. The programme seeks to actively encourage and develop a network of MS societies around the world engaged in bilateral cooperation and collaboration, ultimately impacting the development of more effective and efficient care, support and services for people with and affected by MS.

Through the programme MSIF hopes to extend its facilitative role to MS societies throughout the global MS movement, further fostering MSIF’s continued commitment to supporting "the exchange of skills, knowledge and practical support" between MS societies, as underlined in the MSIF Strategic Plan 2008-2011.

In 2009, MSIF will financially support two twinning partnerships. All national MS societies are encouraged to visit the MSIF Twinning Programme webpage, where further information on the financial support available and eligibility criteria can be found, and downloadable application forms are available.

In addition, a fifth title has been added to MSIF’s How to series. How to Develop a Twinning Partnership has been developed as a tool to inform and support the MSIF Twinning Programme. This can download from the How to series page.
