MSIF’s Board member John Killengreen died on 26 August 2009 in Oslo, Norway. In addition to dealing with MS, John had other serious illnesses in recent years and finally lost his brave fight. He played a significant role in the Norwegian MS Society and joined the MSIF Board two years ago.
MSIF’s CEO, Peer Baneke, joined representatives of the Norwegian MS Society to attend John’s funeral on 3 September 2009 in the Frogner Church, Oslo.
"He was an incredibly positive person and never seemed to let the invasiveness of his treatment get him down. We will remember John as a very optimistic person with great integrity and compassion." Peer Baneke, MSIF CEO.
