MSIF was in Prague from 8-14 October.
The first half of the week concerned the annual meeting between MSIF and representatives from MSIF member societies worldwide, and board meetings, social events and receptions filled the days before Prague07 on Wednesday 10th October.
Social events included a dinner at the St Agnes Monastery, to celebrate our 40th anniversary, and a reception at the Museum of Music, to celebrate the Czech MS Society’s 15th anniversary and introduce the Prague07 event taking place on Wednesday 10th October.
The Prague07 event ‘Living with MS Today and Tomorrow’ was a great success attended by 400 people from more than 30 countries. It featured presentations from people with MS, neurologists and MS experts from a number of countries.
Prague07 was followed by the ECTRIMS/RIMS conference where we had a strong presence with our staff available at our stall to talk about our role and ongoing work, offer free publications and sign-up visitors for our information service, including Making Connections.
Some of the Du Pré Grant and Fellowship recipients were presenting their research at ECTRIMs and we will post images and further information about their valuable work shortly.
