Prof Alan Thompson, Chairman of IMSB represents MSIF at World Health Organization meeting
Prof Alan Thompson, Chairman of MSIF’s International Medical and Scientific Board (IMSB), is attending a meeting at the World Health Organization (WHO) to discuss how MS will be classified in relation to other diseases, from 22-23 June in Geneva, Switzerland.
This is the first meeting of the WHO International Advisory Group for the Revision of ICD-10 Diseases of the Nervous System.
The process is likely to last several years but we will report back on some of the issues raised in the first meeting in Making Connections next week.
