Successful ICF Core Sets for MS conference in Switzerland
The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) Core Sets for MS Consensus Conference took place from 2-4 May, 2008 at the Valens Rehabilitation Centre.

The development of the ICF Core Sets for MS, a project partly funded by MSIF, aims to specify functioning and disability of people with MS. Once the core sets are agreed, they can be used as clinical practice tools and will help stimulate research and understanding of the disease.

Twenty two participants from seven health professions and from 16 countries attended the conference and together determined two ICF Core Sets, the Comprehensive ICF Core Set for MS and the Brief ICF Core Set for MS which will be used to assess people with MS in different healthcare settings.
