The Neurologiskt Handikappades Riksförbund (Swedish Association for Persons with Neurological Disabilities), in collaboration with MSIF, will host ’Living with MS: Today and Tomorrow’ – a day-long event in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 12 October 2010.
The day will consist of a series of presentations by leading international MS professionals, introduced by people with MS, and will give participants an opportunity to find out about current and future developments in key areas such as the pathogenesis of MS; cognition and emotions in MS; stem cell transplantation and rehabilitation. All presentations will be made in or translated into English.
The event is for people with MS, health professionals and MS society staff and volunteers. It directly precedes the European Committee for Treatment and Research of Multiple Sclerosis meeting (ECTRIMS) and the Conference of Rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis (RIMS), which take place in Gothenburg from 13-16 October 2010.
The cost for the Living with MS Day (including refreshments and lunch) is €25 per person.
