World MS Day latest: more than 50 per cent of MSIF members sign up
Has your MS society signed up to participate in the first ever World MS Day on Wednesday 27 May 2009?

Since the MSIF Secretariat's call for participation, we have confirmation of commitment from 38 MS organisations across the globe, more than half of which are MSIF member societies.

The day will be used for membership development in Ireland, whilst fundraising campaigns are being planned in Denmark and Sweden. So far, MS societies in the following countries have told us of their commitment: Argentina, Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Norway, Pakistan, Palestinian Authority, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Uruguay and USA.

The first World MS Day will raise awareness about MS and build global solidarity for the MS movement. Mark your calendar now and tell your family, friends and colleagues to do the same. Look out for updates in Making Connections and on our website, including the 'call to action' and how MSIF will provide support to participating individuals, groups and organisations.
