  World MS Day update
Has your MS society signed up to participate in the first ever World MS Day on Wednesday 27 May 2009?

Three more countries have signed up for World MS Day: Australia, Hungary and Iceland. In Queensland, Australia a reception is being planned and in Hungary there will be a programme in the Hungarian Parliament. A week of activities to mark the day have been announced in Sri Lanka, including a people with MS day and a media and awareness programme. A total of 43 MS organisations have now confirmed their commitment to World MS Day.

The first World MS Day will raise awareness about MS and build global solidarity for the MS movement. Mark your calendar now and tell your family, friends and colleagues to do the same. Look out for updates in Making Connections and on our website, including the 'call to action' and information about how MSIF will provide support to participating individuals, groups and organisations.
