UK, 5 September 2005 The Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) is delighted to offer the Du Pré Grants to young researchers involved in projects directly related to multiple sclerosis (MS). The aim of both awards is to encourage cross-fertilisation of skills through collaborative research projects.
Up to ten Du Pré Grants will be awarded every year to young researchers from any country to enable them to undertake short visits to research centres in another country either to learn more from each other or to carry out parts of joint research projects. The Grants are likely to be between GBP£1,000 and GBP£2,000 with a maximum grant of GBP£4,000 to cover travel costs or as a top-up to an existing grant to extend or further develop a visit.
