summary: MS is an inflammatory-demyelinating disease of the central nervous system, where the study of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) can be of great help in the diagnosis of the disease and may be crucial for research studies. In this paper, the authors describe a consensus protocol on recommendations for CSF collection procedures obtaining high-quality clinical and paraclinical data, to be able to establish large banks of reliable and well-defined samples in the future.
