  An investigation of susceptibility loci in benign, aggressive and primary progressive multiple sclerosis in Northern Irish population

summary: In this study the authors aimed to investigate whether the presence of certain genetic characteristics could influence the disease outcome in a Northern Irish population for MS. They found not only significant correlations between some known genetic variants and clinical outcome, but also new genes involved in the clinical course of the disease.
