  Longitudinal evaluation of clinically early relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis with diffusion tensor imaging.

summary: Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is an MRI technique which uses the properties of water diffusion to examine tissue microstructure. In this study, DTI parameters reflected damage to the normal appearing tissues in patients with MS, but did not detect any progression in this damage after 2 years.
