summary: In this phase two, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, the authors aimed to investigate whether daclizumab reduced disease activity in people with active relapsing MS who were receiving interferon beta treatment. The findings of the study suggested that add-on daclizumab treatment reduced the number of active lesions compared with interferon beta alone and might reduce MS disease activity to a greater extent than interferon beta alone.
