  Daclizumab in treatment of multiple sclerosis patients

summary: This preliminary study investigated the tolerability and safety of daclizumab, a new experimental treatment proposed for use in severe MS. As with other antibody treatments like natalizumab there were some important side effects, in this case cardiotoxicity and viral meningitis. Further studies are needed to see if this medication will be useful.
