Decrease in the numbers of dendritic cells and CD4+ T cells in cerebral perivascular spaces due to natalizumab

summary: Natalizumab is a new medication for MS, which is very effective at reducing inflammation but can have serious side effects. In this pathological study the effects of natalizumab on certain areas of the brain were investigated and differences in the immune cells were found, which might partly explain the prolonged effects of the medication.
