Effect of anti-IFN{beta} antibodies on MRI lesions of MS patients in the BECOME study

summary: In this article the authors aimed to investigate the impact of neutralising antibodies against interferon beta (IFNb) on the efficacy of the drug. For this purpose they studied the MRI outcomes of those people who participated in the BECOME trial (IFNb 1b versus glatiramer acetate). They found that high levels of anti-IFNb correlated with reduced therapeutic efficacy of this drug.
