Emerging effects of comorbidities on multiple sclerosis

summary: The interaction between different diseases is strong but is not well studied in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). The authors observed that other diseases and lifestyle factors can have an influence in symptom onset, disability progression, and health-related quality of life. The authors concluded that future research is needed to answer many other questions about these associations with MS, including the best way to measure and analyse comorbidities to understand these associations.
