  Frequency and risk factors of mitoxantrone-induced amenorrhea in multiple sclerosis: the FEMIMS study

summary: The authors investigated the side effects of mitoxantrone, a chemotherapy drug used to treat aggressive MS, in women. They found that whilst it may affect fertility, this risk is reduced if hormones are used during the treatment.
