  Functional cortical changes of the sensorimotor network are associated with clinical recovery in multiple sclerosis.

summary: The authors used functional MRI to study changes in activation of the brain in areas related to movement in people with MS after an acute motor relapse. They found different patterns of activation of various areas depending upon whether patients were using their affected or unaffected hand.
