  High resolution diffusion tensor imaging of axonal damage in focal inflammatory and demyelinating lesions in rat spinal cord

summary: The authors, using a new MRI technique, looked at spinal cord lesions of rats affected by the animal form of MS. They found that this technique was very effective in detecting neuronal damage distant from inflammation sites.
