  Magnetic resonance imaging as a surrogate outcome for multiple sclerosis relapses.

summary: In this negative study, the authors looked to see if contrast enhancing lesions on MRI predicted clinical relapses during the following year in people with MS. They concluded that they were not useful as predictors.
