summary: It is well known that, during pregnancy, women with MS are likely to have a reduction in their disease activity. However, the biological mechanisms underlying these circumstances are poorly understood. The authors of this study found that specific changes in gene expression during pregnancy were associated with a decrease in disease activity. These findings may help us understand better the pathogenesis of MS.
