Lesion distribution in children with clinically isolated syndromes.

summary: The authors compared MRI characteristics in adults and children with MS. They found that the pons, part of the brainstem, was more often involved in children, especially boys, and conclude that this might be due to the pattern of myelination as the brain matures.
