  Mastery, functional disability and perceived health status in patients with multiple sclerosis

summary: People with MS sometimes live with some level of disability, which may be due not only to physical dysfunction but also to mood disturbances. In this study the authors found that people with effective control strategies coped better with both physical and mood symptoms, and this was especially important in older people.
