  Grey matter pathology in multiple sclerosis

summary: In recent years it has been appreciated that MS affects grey as well as white matter in the brain. This article gives an overview of the importance of grey matter involvement in MS and reviews different theories on how it occurs as well as MRI techniques to detect it.
