  Multiple sclerosis: distribution of inflammatory cells in newly forming lesions

summary: It is thought that T cells, a specific type of immune cell, are crucial in the mechanisms underlying myelin destruction in MS. However, the authors of this study suggest that other mechanisms independent of T cells may also play an important role in the formation of MS plaques.
