Neuroprotective effect of transplanted human embryonic stem cell-derived neural precursors in an animal model of multiple sclerosis

summary: This study of stem-cell therapy in an animal model of MS showed improvement of the clinical signs, inflammation and brain injury. However these changes were not due to remyelination, instead appearing to be related to a change in the immune response.
